Comedy Store Evening a great success
£6,500 raised

On 6th June the LGF hosted a night of comedy at one of London's premier venues - The Comedy Store.  Host Lee Mack had the audience in stitches within seconds and all the comedians, including Will Smith, Greg Burns and Andre Vincent were well received.  The evening was a sell out and over £6,000 was raised.  Special thanks go to Joanna Joseph for organising such a great event.

Extra special thanks also goes to Lee Mack, who has agreed to support the Louise Gergel Fellowship in a forthcoming televised poker evening for charity.

Initial fund raising target met -
£120,000 raised

Thanks to everyone who has donated money and for all the volunteers and fund raisers.  We have reached our initial target which will allow us to advertise for a research fellow into Hughes Syndrome at St Thomas' Hospital.

We still need further funds to help ensure that the research can continue into the future and to help raise awareness of Hughes Syndrome.
